Where To Depart

If you depart from Manila, you have to travel to Cebu before you reach Siargao. So it’s Manila-Cebu-Siargao. Only Cebu Pacific Air has flights going to Siargao. Once you arrive at Sayak Airport, you still have to travel an hour to reach General Luna. You can also take a ferry from Cebu to Surigao City which would take 8 hours, and then another 3 hours from Surigao to Siargao Island. Therefore, plan your schedule, time, and transportation. 

Where To Stay 

Most of the tourists stay within General Luna; thus, there are quite a lot of resorts that offer luxurious accommodation. However, the wisest thing to do is search online for the type of accommodation that fits your budget and your itinerary. Also, you would not have much problem exploring the island since there are motorbikes for rent at very affordable prices or you can take a van if you are in a group.
